Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know, all in one place.
We've answered our most common questions to help you feel confident, informed, and ready to start your next concreting project with us.

How long before I can drive on my new driveway?

We recommend waiting at least 7 days before driving on new concrete to ensure it has gained sufficient strength.

How long does concrete take to cure?

Concrete is generally safe to walk on after 24–48 hours, drive on after around 7 days, and reaches its full strength in approximately 28 days.

Do you provide free quotes?

Yes! We offer free, no-obligation quotes and can discuss the best options to suit your budget and project.

What types of concrete finishes do you offer?

We offer plain concrete, exposed aggregate, coloured concrete, broom finish, honed concrete, and decorative finishes to suit your style.

Can you match my existing concrete?

We do our best to match the colour, finish, and texture of existing concrete. While exact colour matches can't always be guaranteed due to ageing and weathering, we'll achieve the closest possible result.

Can you work with builders and developers?

Yes. We regularly partner with builders, developers, and commercial contractors for new builds, subdivisions, and large-scale concrete projects.

Do I need council approval for a new driveway?

Some driveway projects may require council approval, particularly if they involve a crossover or changes to the nature strip. We can advise you on what's required.

How long will my project take?

Most residential projects are completed within a few days, depending on the size, weather conditions, and complexity of the job.

Do you remove old concrete?

Yes. We can safely remove and dispose of existing concrete before preparing the area for your new installation.

How do I maintain my new concrete?

Keep it clean, avoid harsh chemicals, and reseal decorative concrete when recommended to protect its appearance and longevity.
